We loved celebrating #IWD - our founder was a panellist with GB Paralympian Julie Rogers, Dr Karen Morton & Simonetta Rigo, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Evelyn Partners, for a thought provoking discussion on gender equality & embrace equity: breaking down barriers.
Our Takeaways:
👉 Community - everyone needs to feel included and valued in a workplace; leadership needs to recognise that people come from different places, and to embrace diversity
🤜 Change - teams need to address unconscious biases, support parents and care-givers and identify great sponsors and mentors for colleagues who might need greater resource to thrive
👌 Collaboration - male allies are crucial to accelerating progress
... and the general consensus was that hopefully, one day, we won't need IWD
🤞 and we can embrace equality naturally
