• Does a face wash do anything beyond clearing spots?

  A cleanser that strips the skin does one job and undoes another. Ours is built around bioactive plant ingredients — 70%+ organic aloe vera, tea tree, eucalyptus, basil and peppermint — so as it clears pores it also supports the skin's own condition rather than depleting it. That's why customers tend to describe the result as clearer and brighter, rather than just clearer. Most acne washes can't say the second part, because stripping the surface leaves skin flat and dull even when the spots have gone.

• Can teenagers use Miracle Waters for spots & breakouts?

  Yes. It’s designed to support breakout-prone skin and help keep pores clear, which can be useful during teen breakouts. Start once daily and increase to twice daily if skin stays comfortable.

• Can I use this on back, chest or shoulder breakouts?

  Yes. It's formulated for the face but it's gentle enough to use as a body wash on the back, chest and shoulders, where breakouts are often caused by sweat and friction rather than anything you've done wrong. Use it in the shower, work it in for around 30 seconds and rinse. One customer, Cidonye from Smethwick, told us: "I first tried this on my back as I had some back'ne. It cleared it within a few days."

• Will this help with active breakouts (pimples) and whiteheads?

  It’s designed to flush pores, reduce congestion and help keep spot-causing buildup under control — so active breakouts and whiteheads look clearer with consistent use.

• Is it a good alternative to a foaming or salicylic acid cleanser?

  For most people with recurring breakouts, yes. Foaming and acid cleansers work by removing oil and surface cells aggressively — effective in the short term, but they're the most common cause of a compromised barrier, which we cover in damaged skin barrier. This is a gel cleanse that clears without that trade-off, so it suits people who've found acids left them dry, flaky or more reactive than when they started.

• My skin is sensitive as well as breakout-prone — will this be too much?

  This is the combination it was built for. Sensitive, breakout-prone skin is usually reacting to the treatment as much as to the acne itself, which is why so many people get stuck between products that irritate and products that do nothing. Introduce it once a day for the first week, then move to morning and evening. If you're unusually reactive, patch test on the jawline first.

• Can I use this if I have rosacea or redness-prone skin?

  Many redness-prone customers say it feels calming and doesn’t trigger flare-ups. If you’re rosacea-prone or sensitive to essential oils, patch test first and keep contact time to 30–60 seconds.

• How long does it take to see results?

  Some people notice a fresher, clearer-looking finish right away. More visible improvement in congestion and breakouts typically builds over 2–4 weeks of consistent use.

• Is a natural face wash actually strong enough for acne?

  Harsh washes clear the surface and damage the barrier underneath, which is why breakouts so often come straight back. This one clears pores while leaving the barrier intact, which is what allows skin to stay clear rather than cycling. • Can I use Miracle Waters alongside GP acne prescriptions?

  Often, yes. But it’s best to check with your GP/dermatology prescriber first, especially if you’re experiencing irritation. Keep it simple and gentle: use Miracle Waters for 30–60 seconds, once daily at first, then increase if skin stays comfortable. If you feel dryness from your prescription, reduce cleanser contact time and prioritise moisturiser & check in with your GP.

• Does it remove SPF and makeup? Do I need to double cleanse?

  It can remove light makeup and everyday SPF. For heavier makeup, use a pre-cleanse or double cleanse to fully remove long-wear products.

• Is it suitable for oily skin?

  It's designed for it. Most washes aimed at oily skin strip the surface, which usually makes oil production rebound harder a few hours later. This one cleanses thoroughly without that squeaky, tight feeling, so your skin isn't triggered into overproducing. If you're oily and breakout-prone, pair it with our Clearing Face Cream rather than skipping moisturiser — dehydrated skin is oilier skin.

• Will it help with the marks left behind after a breakout?

  It helps in two ways. Keeping pores clear reduces the number of new marks forming, and consistent gentle cleansing supports the skin's own renewal so existing marks look less noticeable over time. It won't act on pigment the way an acid or a prescription treatment does, and we won't claim it does. Most people see a difference in overall clarity within two to four weeks — there are real examples on our before and afters page.

• Is it vegan, and what's not in it?

  It's vegan and never tested on animals. There's no benzoyl peroxide, no retinol, no harsh acids and no synthetic fragrance — the scent comes from the essential oils in the formula. That's also why it's suitable from around age 11 upwards, and why it appears in our teen acne collection.

• Is Miracle Waters good for clearing acne and spots?

  Yes — it's built for exactly that. Tea Tree, Eucalyptus and Basil provide natural antibacterial cleansing, while 70% organic Aloe Vera juice keeps the barrier comfortable so skin isn't stripped into producing more oil. • Is it suitable for combination skin?

  Yes — it's a gel face wash that lifts excess oil and impurities without the harsh surfactants that dry out the rest of your face. Oily T-zone, drier cheeks: both stay balanced. That's the most common combination-skin complaint with acne washes, and the thing this formula avoids.

• Can teenagers use it for teen acne?

  Different jobs. Miracle Waters is the gel face wash — best for oily, breakout-prone days and a deep fresh cleanse. The Barrier Restoring Creamy Cleanser is the cream-to-milk chelating cleanser — the one for hard water areas, lifting mineral residue while protecting the barrier. Many customers keep both and alternate.

• Can I use it every day?

  Yes — it's designed for daily use, morning and evening. Aloe-led hydration means it cleanses without the tight, stripped feeling that makes daily acne washes backfire.
